How to: Search and navigate this site

The site-wide search feature includes the documentation, blog, support, apps and utilities, and all LAS, SBS, and JDU content.1

Quick search (pop-over)

Press / on your keyboard and the search box appears.

You can type:

  • A product or site section to go there (e.g. las, workshop, blog).
  • A Johnny.Decimal number to jump to an area, category, or ID in a system that you have access to (e.g. 34.27, las.11.11).
  • Anything else for fuzzy matches across titles, descriptions, and keywords.

Return opens the top result. Or use the arrow keys or mouse to select another. Esc closes the search box.

Deep search (full page)

Click search from the footer of any page.

This opens a dedicated search page that:

  • Looks inside the full text of every page,
  • Shows a snippet of the matching passage with your search terms highlighted,
  • And doesn't cap the number of results.

This page's URL includes your query, so you can bookmark or share it.

You can use:

  • The arrow keys to move forward and back through course lessons, system numbers, and the documentation and support pages.
  • Option up arrow (Mac) or Alt up arrow (Windows) to move 'up' through course lessons or system numbers.
  • m to mark any course lesson as done.
