    Setting up the system

    What you get

    The Life Admin System comprises:

    • Access to the manual and downloader,
    • A standard folder template,
    • A set of matching text files to create your index (JDex),
    • All future updates.

We put many hours into researching and producing this. If you do what we say, we're confident you will go from chaos to calm, fast.

I'm proof this works – I'm using this system to organise my 'life admin' too. We hope you like it.

    What to do first

Go to Getting started and follow the steps:

    1. Configure settings,1
    2. Download system,
    3. Install folders,
    4. Create JDex,
    5. Move in, and
    6. Check email preferences.

There's also a 10-minute video that goes through the above steps. It shows downloading the system on both Windows and Mac, and setting up your JDex in Obsidian and Bear.

If you haven't already, we recommend reading these pages to help you get the most out of the Life Admin System:

    • About the system,
    • A map of the system,
    • Deciding where things go,
    • Naming files and folders, and
    • Using the Inbox and Archive.

    Footnotes

    1. In your settings there's an option to use emoji in the template (you don't have to). After you download the system, feel free to change them to suit your life – we don't know what you, your family, or pets look like! ↩
